The Slavic Soul: Music for Cello and Piano

Paul Marleyn and Carson Becke last performed together at Pontiac Enchanté during the 2020 season: their concert, which featured music by British composers, was presented via live-stream only.  Their first 'in-person' concert at Pontiac Enchanté together features music selected from across the Slavic lands of Eastern Europe and Asia.  Ranging from well-known works by Rachmaninov and Prokofiev to lesser-known works by Kapralova and Chebotaryan, the warmth of the music in this program is the perfect antidote to a cold January evening.
