Night Light: Music for Flute and Piano

Join us for the National Capital Region launch party of Phil & Lara's new album, "Night Light," which was recently released on February 4th (despite many COVID-related setbacks!).  This program will highlight many of the works from the album, all of which were inspired by dreams.  Though "dreams" and "dreamy" are usually associated with "relaxation" and "easy listening," don't be fooled - this music has wickedly fast and thrilling sounds that capture the chaotic nature of dreams as well! The duo also looks forward to sharing the stories behind these works, from the camping adventures which influenced Frédéric Lacroix's "Night," to the post-apocalyptic world of Takashi Yoshimatsu's "Digital Bird Suite."
